HOW TO TUTORIAL on FIXING FLINTLOCK PISTOL REPLICA [chapter: Flask Plate "L" Shape]
Picture
1. Place your flintlock pistol on a flat sturdily surface because you will be using a bit of force when unscrewing one of the screw.
Picture
2. Using a flat headed screw driver, make sure it's durable enough and won't bend so you won't damage the pistol replica in between the replacement process.
Picture
3. Locating the bolted screw where needs to be replaced, gently by holding the pistol replica in place with one hand(to keep pistol replica in place to avoid excess movement when been worked on) and unscrewing the bolt with its driver on the others hand using a counterclockwise motion.

4. Here is the close-up to get a better view, as you can see I'm removing the flask plate where the flint hits when the trigger was pulled.
Picture
5. Remember not to force it loose it may cause damage to the pistol replica if the flat headed drive slips way from the bolted screw.
Picture
6. After couple of counterclockwise turns screw are able to easily comes loose, set the detached screw next to the pistol because we will be needing it.
Picture
7. Need to pull back the hammer glock so the flint plate have room to be worked on when detaching using your hand.
Picture
8. Simply clamp the plate using your finger by pinching it, then gently wiggle to loosen up by pulling away from the pistol replica. (*IMPORTANT: not much force should be applied since the screwed bolt are already been removed)

9. When the plate fully detached we are half way done. Basically we had finish the hardest part, the following will be simply & easy .

9. When installing the replacement flint flask plate, we well be using the same flat headed driver because the original screw we took off are required to get the job done. So make sure you don't change the screw due to it might expand the inner flush and cause it to falloff over time(only if you interact with these pistol replica)

10. Set the new replacement plate where the original proper located, make sure it's pushed all the way in and sets fully flushed. Again, not to use too much force that may cause damage or such.
Picture
11. Use the flat headed screw drive and the bolt screw that we used earlier to complete the task.
Picture
12. Remember to hold the pistol in place to ease your installation process and avoid excess damage.
Picture
13. Place the screw in place to perform the bolting process.....
Picture
With the flat headed screw driver, position correctly on screw turning it using clockwise motion.
Picture
When bolting the screw, stop this action when the driver are bit forcibly at turn. You don't want to lock it too tight that might not allow you to maneuver when needed in action.
Picture
14. Test the moment by gently flick away and back for a couple times to insure its proper fitted. (*IMPORTANT: DO NOT APPLY LUBRICANT LIQUID THAT MIGHT CAUSE DISCOLORATION TO THE WOOD SHAFT OF ITS PISTOL REPLICA)
Picture
Once confirm its proper intact, now set the flask in position lets get ready to disengage the trigger so the flintlock hammer will hit the front flask plate to reenact how it real feels and the action of it.

Here we go......
Picture
Nicely done, works perfect when the hammer hits following by the push of the flask plate forward correctly.

Better view at close-up....
Picture
Just double checking if its loose. Not tightening the bolted screw will cause the flask plate to fallout & too tightening the bolted screw will cause the flask plate not to lean forward after each shoot and cause damage in the long run.
